ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION: WHAT’S NEXT FOR SOUTHERN SUDAN?

The Africa Trade Office was honored to host a seven-person delegation from the South African City of Tswhane (formerly Pretoria) led by the Executive Mayor Kgosientoso Ramkgopa on July 6, 2011. The delegation held a roundtable with Prince George’s County firms regarding specific opportunities in IT infrastructure, and construction. U.S. companies were encouraged to come to South Africa and open up operations for the long term.

Internships
Overview
The ATO offers internship opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students majoring in Political Science, Public Administration, International Business and Finance. This program is designed to complement the intern’s educational pursuits and career goals while meeting the needs of The Africa Trade Office and consistent with our objectives.

Interns must commit to work a minimum of 10 to 20 hours per week. Allowances for class schedules may be accommodated.

Pay and Benefits
While internships are paid, benefits are not included.
